Good Morning day 2 day moms! Today I woke up feeling not so pretty. After waking up, taking my son to the potty and brushing his teeth, making beds and breakfast I got a chance to look at myself and I looked disheveled. I thought to myself I don’t want to look how I can sometimes feel LOL.
Before having my son and being prego for the second time, I actually made some time to do my hair and make up. Well now that I m about to have a second little guy that has changed. However, I went to my closet full of beauty regimen crap and found two of my most favorite products/ tools. These are essential when needing to look nice in a short amount of time due to mom duties.
The first of my favorite is the Deva low poo and Deva one conditioner. If you have time to take a shower and for those who have wavy or curly hair this is AMAZING. This shampoo keeps your hair clean (even though it does not lather much) and very soft. I have very thick wavy / curly hair that can get into alot of knots. When I wash my hair with this and condition, I can run my fingers through my hair in the shower and detangle with no issues!
After you’re done in the shower I run my fingers through my hair with the Deva defining gel and scrunch. I dry my hair with a difuser. So, now my hair is clean and fresh and looks sexy with my non frizzy curls. Use the difuser to help limit frizz!.
I dry my hair with my second favorite product, the BayBliss pro hair dryer along with the conair universal difudser. I use it on warm and half dry my hair. Since I started using these products I notice my curls coming back. I used to straighten my hair so much that when I wanted it curly it just wouldnt look right. It was half straight and half wavy and very frizzy.
Honestly shampoos that dont lather are best for your hair because it does not strip the hair of its essential oils that help with frizz. Im going to be trying a new product thats very popular. Its called “WEN” and its a non lathering cleanser for your hair. I saw it in Sephora and waiting till pay day LOL. I will let you know how that works out. I plan on using that cleanser when I want to straighten my hair.
I still straighten my hair from time to time but am wearing it more in its natural state. I think if i keep my hair more in the natural it wont become damaged as much. That is not based on anything other than my opinion!
The Baybliss hair dryer is also amazing for blow outs. I am able to dry my hair in half the time I did with the regular Revlon dryer I bought at CVS.
Ok, now I feel prettier and better for letting you all in on what I do to give myself a quick pick me up.
What are some of your pick me ups? I like to try different things.
